Naworth Fishery is located on the Naworth Castle Estate, just outside the small town of Brampton in the North of Cumbria near to the Scottish Border. The Lake is run as a Trout Fishery and prides itself on being probably the best stocked private water in the area, with Rainbow trout stocked up to double figures on a regular basis.
The lake itself was originally 11 acres, but over time was reduced in area by vegetation reclaiming the margins. Some 10 years ago the it was dredged providing the 7 acre lake today, set in mature woodland, with an abundance of wild life that is enjoyed by the many visiting and regular anglers.
