Fishery Open Times
British summer time: 7am till 1 hour after sunset
Winter time: 8am till 1 hour after sunset
The Fishery closes every Friday at 6pm or earlier depending on time of year
Methods
FLY and WORM ONLY ( NO Ground Bait or any other methods permitted )
From 1st May 2010 the lake is fly only in the evening. ( after 5pm )
Rod Licence
You must have a current Environment Agengy Rod Licence before fishing. These are not supplied at the lake but may be obtained from the postoffice in Brampton.
Bait
Because of the lack of demand for worms, we no longer supply them.
How to find the Fishery
Naworth Fishery is situated to the East of Brampton just off the A69 between Hexham and Carlisle. The entrance to the fishery is only 100 yards from that of New Mills Trout Farm. ( ref: picture 1 ) - see our Location Map

Just turn in and drive past the gate which has a small sign on it "Naworth Fishery", ( ref: picture 2 ) at the top of the tarmac access road turn left ( ref picture 3 ) and follow the track down through the woodland to the car park and follow the rest of the track on foot to the lake ( approx 100 yards ). Disabled drivers or passengers may be driven right to the lake side to facilate their access.
Disabled Access

There is good access to a proportion of the lake for disabled persons to fish, if you require any further information, however, please contact the management. We would recomend that some disabled are accompanied.
